Crouse was born Marlon Ray Crouse on March 16, 1959 in Oakland, California.[1]
Crouse's first professional experience was in two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. From there he would play in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers. After his time with the Packers, he returned to the CFL and played two seasons with the BC Lions.
He played at the collegiate level at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.[2]
