Rautalampi is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the Northern Savonia region. The municipality has a population of 3,469 (31 January 2011)[2] and covers an area of 761.97 square kilometres (294.20 sq mi) of which 222.99 km2 (86.10 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 6.44 inhabitants per square kilometre (16.7 /sq mi).

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
