Rasoolpur
Rasoolpur (رسولپور) is a village located in District "Rajanpur" Province "Punjab" Pakistan. It is located in south Punjab in an area where the Siraiki language is spoken. Rasulpur holds significant importance for the siraiki people as well as the whole siraiki dharti(land). It is situated 35 miles north from Rajanpur on indus highway. Its population is approximately 2,000. Residents of Rasoolpur called "Rasoolpuries", are highly educated, having almost a 100% literacy rate. The majority of the people, including females, hold government jobs. There are two high schools, one for the girls and other for the boys.
There is a functional welfare organization named Ahmedani Welfare Society. There is a literary organization named Rasoolpur Siraiki Sangat, which is working on research of the Siraiki language. Rasoolpuries are known for their work on Siraiki language and literature. Rasoolpur holds annual Siraiki programs that include Mushaera and and many other good events.

- Mohammed Ismail Ahmadani, was Conferred twice "Khawaja Ghulam Farid Award" by Pakistan Academy of Letters because of his immaculate literary work in Siraiki.He was a writer, critic, columnist and a poet of Siraiki and Urdu languages. His work in Siraiki language is par excellence. His three books are published in siraiki language. His writings show his passion for siraiki language and love for “Siraiki waseb”. He portrayed cultural traditions of “Siraiki wasaib” in his Novels and columns.His books are included in the syllabi of M.A. (Siraiki) at two universities. He spent many years of his life in Sanghar (Sind), where he developed a literary circle and worked as a bridge between Sindhi and Siraiki literature and culture.(www.ismailahmadani.com)
- Peer Bakhish Peer was a poet and writer. He wrote nearly a dozen books. There are some translations of Sheikh Saadi and Maulan Rom. These books have not been published but some are in the public library in Rasoolpur.
- Abdul Rashid Arshad was a poet. His famous poem in Persian is written on the gate of Masque of Rasoolpur.
- Talat Mahmood was a founder of Siraiki Sangat Rasoolpur. He was a poet. He used to arrange stage shows, dramas and other social events in Rasoolpur. After his death a booklet was published about his life and poetry.
- Aslam Rasoolpuri is siraiki writer, critic, linguist and siraiki nationalist.He is most famous among living siraiki writers.
- Prof.Haq Nawaz is writer of an Urdu Novel "Tehloz Khan". He has been serving as Associate Professor of English Language for 25 Years.
- Dr.Farhat Abbas is Chairman of Environmental Sciences Department at Government College University Faisal Abad.
- Jamshaid Ahmed Kamtar is well known writer, Poet and scholar. He is very famous in Siraiki region. His contribution to Siraiki Language is worth full. He is author to 13 Siraiki Books.
- Kaifi Rasoolpuri is columnist. His is watchful on currents affairs.
Facilities
- There is a public library in which hundred books are available, including religious and literary books. There are also several private libraries.
- A mosque is in the center of village near the public library
- Several orchards of mangoes and palm dates
- Rasool Pur Development Society (RDS) has just been established to maintain the beauty of village and development works are ongoing.
