Ranjitha (Tamil: ரஞ்சிதா, born Sri Valli)[1] is an Indian film and television actress. She has acted in a number of Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films.[2][3][4] Her first film was a Telugu film titled Kadapa Reddemma. She made her Tamil film debut in the 1992 Bharathiraja film Nadodi Thendral. She played lead roles in Tamil films till 1999. She briefly retired from acting after her wedding. Since her comeback in 2001, she has been acting in supporting roles in films and lead roles in television shows.[1][5][6][7][8][9]
