Randolph Stewart, 13th Earl of Galloway

Randolph Keith Reginald Stewart, 13th Earl of Galloway (born 14 October 1928) is the only son of Randolph Stewart, 12th Earl of Galloway.

He was diagnosed as schizophrenic, and in 1952 he was lobotomised in an attempt to control his behaviour. The lobotomy changed him forever; "I was never the same again" he told an interviewer.[1]

On October 17, 1975 he married Lily May Budge, youngest daughter of Andrew Miller, of Duns, Berwicks. Lily died in 1999 with the marriage childless, so his cousin Andrew will succeed to the earldom upon his death.[2]
