Rahara (Irish: Ráth Ara, meaning "fort of the charioter") is a village in County Roscommon, Ireland. It lies on the R362 regional road, between Athlone and Athleague about 3 km (1.9 mi) north of the village of Curraghboy.

Sport

Rahara Rovers F.C. currently play in the "Clover Park". The club was established in 1998 and the first official game took place between Rahara Rovers F.C. and neighbours Cam Celtic F.C.

The Club play in the Roscommon & District Football League and the Club currently have 2 Senior men's teams, and have had U-16 and U-18 teams as well as ladies teams.

The Club Crest consists of a Cross which represents St. Brigid's Well in Carrowkeel, a Castle which represents Longfield Castle and the many forts in the area, a Football, a Fish which represents Lough Funshinagh which the pitch overlooks, and a Four Leaved Clover which represents the Clover Park.
