Rafael Pineda Ponce

Rafael Pineda Ponce is a Honduran politician for the Liberal Party of Honduras (Partido Liberal de Honduras in Spanish or PLH). He served as Minister of Education under the presidency of Manuel Zelaya from 2006 to 2007.[1] He was Minister of the Presidency in the interim government of Roberto Micheletti which arose out of the removal from power of Manuel Zelaya in the 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis. In the elections of 2001 he stood as the Liberal Party candidate for President but lost the race to Ricardo Maduro.[2]
