Radeem Rahman is the first ever professional mixed martial artist from Singapore.[1]

Rahman is a member of the Evolve MMA fight team and has stated he dreamed of being a professional fighter ever since he was a child. In interviews he describes training for his fight at ONE Fighting Championship as being 'the hardest thing I've ever done...much tougher than anything I have ever done for National Service in the military' [2] and says that 'My dream is to become Singapore's first ever World Champion'.[3]
Rahman made his professional MMA debut at ONE Fighting Championship: Champion vs. Champion at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on September 3 against Indian karate expert Susovan Ghosh.[4] He won the fight via TKO in the first round.
Rahman starred in ONE Fighting Championship's first ever televised commercial which was broadcast on ESPN Star Sports and Mediacorp Channel 5 in July, 2011. [5]
