Qusai has been playing in Al-Faisaly (Amman) since he first started his career, until the Iraqi coach Tha'er Jassam returned to coach Al-Faisaly (Amman) for the 2011-2012 season after the previous coach Mohammad Al-Yamani left. As that happened, Qusai left Al-Faisaly and went to go play with Al-Jazeera (Amman). Many fans of Al-Faisaly wanted to know the reason why Qusai did that. Qusai answered by saying "Tha'er Jassam is the reason why I left Al-Faisaly!"
Qusai was one of the participants of the Jordan national team at the 2004 Asian Cup in China. Qusai's last international game was against Singapore on March 3, 2010, the match that allowed Jordan to qualify for the 2011 Asian Cup in Qatar as Jordan beat Singapore 2-1. He played in the last few minutes of the match after entering as a substitute for his teammate Odai Al-Saify, one of the heroes of Jordan's qualifying campaign, for suffering an injury.
