Płoskinia [pwɔsˈkiɲa] (German Plasswich) is a village in Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Płoskinia.[1] It lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) south-east of Braniewo and 66 km (41 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 460.
