Pymatuning Valley High School is a public high school in Andover, Ohio. It is located in Andover, Ohio in Ashtabula County. The school was rated "EXCELLENT" by the State of Ohio in 2006, 2007 & 2008. The enrollment in grades 9-12 is approximately 480 students. Academic programs are supported by other offerings: AP English, Academic Decathlon, FFA program, and a Multimedia Program through the Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School, Student council, Class Officers, class cabinet (for juniors and seniors), FCCLA, botany team, academic decathlon, academic challenge team, band, jazz band, choir, Ashtabula County YOUth LEADERship, and the Ashtabula County Mentorship Program.
The schools sports teams are named the "Lakers", a reference to the proximity of Pymatuning Reservoir. Some of the extracurricular opportunities including football, cross country, soccer, golf, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track & field, baseball, and softball.
