Specifications

PureOS uses KDE by default, with the OpenOffice.org suite, instead of KOffice. It also goes with Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird, Vim, and GIMP (image manipulation program) preinstalled by default. PureOSlight is made for performance and thus uses Xfce instead of KDE and does not have a complete office suite, but includes instead separate programs including AbiWord for word-processing and Gnumeric for spreadsheet.
