Punta de Lobos (English: Wolves Point) is a Chilean beach located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Pichilemu and 177 kilometres (110 mi) southwest of Rancagua, in the Cardenal Caro Province, O'Higgins Region.[1]
In addition to its fine gray sand, its principal characteristics are that it's surrounded by cliffs which are 50 metres high, and its odd rocks are frequented by sea-lions. Punta de Lobos' beach length and its location makes it available for bathing and shore fishing. It is also a good place for surf[2] and kiteboarding practice, especially in winter. Its waves vary between two and three meters high, allowing surfers of different skill levels to select their waves.
