Pteleos (Greek: Πτελεός) is a village and a former municipality in Magnesia, Thessaly, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Almyros, of which it is a municipal unit.[1] Population 2,881 (2001). It contains several beaches, as well as a plethora of beach-bars, taverns, restaurants, bars and night clubs.
