Psi Ursae Majoris (ψ UMa, ψ Ursae Majoris) is a star in the constellation Ursa Major.

In Chinese astronomy, Psi Ursae Majoris is called Tien Tsan or Ta Tsun, "Extremely Honorable"[1]. The name was possibly derived from the word 太尊, Pinyin: Tàizūn, meaning Royals, because this star is marking itself and stand alone in Royals asterism, Purple Forbidden enclosure (see : Chinese constellation).

Psi Ursae Majoris is an orange K-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +3.00. It is approximately 147 light years from Earth.
