Pseudoweinmannia is an endemic Australian genus with two species of trees belonging to the ancient Gondwana family Cunoniaceae. Both species lack petals.
The name refers to the similarity of another genus, Weinmannia, after the German eighteenth century pharmacist J.W. Weinmann.[2]
