Prozostrodon was an advanced cynodont that was closely related to the ancestors of mammals. Its relatives gave rise to the first mammaliformes. Prozostrodon were found in the Geopark of Paleorrota, Santa Maria Formation, Brazil. This deposited in Geosciences of UFRGS.[1]
