Profundulidae

Profundulidae is a family of teleost fish endemic to Mexico, Guatemala and other countries of Central America.^[1] This family is monotypic with only a single genus, Profundulus. This family contains six species.^[2]

• Profundulus oaxacae
• Profundulus punctatus^[3][4]

Range and Geographic Distribution

Members of this family are found in the Pacific and Atlantic slopes of Central America in Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.^[5]
