Prigorica is a village immediately to the north of Dolenja vas in the Ribnica municipality in southern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and belongs to the Dolenja vas parish. It is an 18th century church that was rebuilt in 1855 and thoroughly renovated between 2005 and 2008.[3]
