Partap Singh Bajwa is a member of the Lok Sabha. In 2009, he was elected to represent the Gurdaspur area over three-termer Vinod Khanna, with a margin of 8,342 votes.[1] Partap Singh Bajwa had already sat as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for Punjab.[1] He is the son of slain Akali leader Satnam Singh Bajwa. He has served as a cabinet minister under S. Beant Singh and Captain Amarinder Singh.
