Popowo [pɔˈpɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lipno, within Lipno County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) southwest of Lipno and 45 km (28 mi) southeast of Toruń.
Lech Wałęsa was born here.
