Polysporin

Polysporin is a line of antibiotic ointments produced by Johnson & Johnson used in the prevention of infection and speeding the healing of wounds. The original formulation contains bacitracin and polymyxin B.

In the United States, Polysporin is less popular than Neosporin which contains a third antibiotic, neomycin. In Canada, the "complete" version of Polysporin, which is known generically as "triple antibioitic ointment", contains gramicidin as the third antibiotic, and does not contain neomycin. [1]

Polysporin also comes as an invisible patch as a means to treat cold sores, called the Polysporin cold sore patch. In Europe it is marketed under the name Compeed Cold Sore Patch, also from Johnson & Johnson

In Europe it has been sold for several years, and recently a night time version came out that contains Tanacetum PFE. In Canada the regular patch came out in 2011.
