Pokémon Play It!
Pokémon Play It! is a computer game that came from certain classic Wizards of the Coast Pokémon Trading Card Game card packs. In the first version, the player has to learn how to play the Pokémon TCG (Trading Card Game) in any way he likes, before he would decide to battle a CPU-controlled girl named Julie. There were four virtual 30-card packs available. Two are hidden and revealed when the word "fire" is typed during the title screen or when Julie starts to talk. This version is included with the Base 2 Beginners Pokémon Trading Card pack. The 2nd version allowed sign-in as a Pokémon learner trainer before entering the Advanced Challenges as a Pokémon Master learner trainer. It also allows the build of player's own Pokémon TCG card decks, and organize player's cards. Both versions included extras, the likes of which encompassed in-computer features and printable ones. Version one was available in the USA as well as the UK, where Woolworths set up trading card days in store). Version two meanwhile was only available in the USA, however v2 was available in the UK in gift boxes containing the limited edition Tempest deck. v2 was also included in polish video games magazine "Play" from May 2001.
