Podlipovica is a settlement immediately to the west of Izlake in the Zagorje ob Savi municipality in central Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Zasavje statistical region.[2]
The local church, built on a small hill to the east of the settlement core, is dedicated to Saints Hermagoras and Fortunatus and belongs to the Izlake parish. It dates to the late 17th century.[3]
The ruins of Medija Castle and the restored castle chapel can be found to the south of the settlement.[4]
