Podgorje ob Sevnični is a dispersed settlement in the hills to the north of Sevnica in east central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Styria. The Sevnica municipality is now included in the Lower Sava statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary (Slovene: Sveta Marija Rožnovenska) and belongs to the Zabukovje parish. It has a Romanesque core and was restyled in the Baroque in the 17th century.[3]
