Plus Communication SH. a. (Albanian: Plus) is a telecommunication company headquartered in Tirana, Albania[2]. It is the first Albanian cellphone company and 4th cellphone company in Albania. It operates networks in 2 countries (Albania and Kosovo). [3] It is also the sponsor of the Albanian football team. [4]

The company's technological center was opened on 28 November 2010 and is inaugurated by Sali Berisha. This date was chosen because it is the Albanian independence day. [5]
Plus has established trade agreements with several prestigious national and international companies for the establishment and maintenance of the network. Specifically partners are: Nokia Siemens that has been selected as the supplier of the RAN (Radio Access Network) and Core Network equipment (plant), NEC was selected as the supplier of backbone network and its connections microwave, Comverse is selected the company to deliver equipment BSS/VAS (charging and value-added services.)
Currently, Plus has been providing service throughout the territory of Albania. Plus signal covers whole Albania. The signal first only covered the city of Tirana, Durrës, Kavaja, Elbasan, Tirana Airport, as well as national roads to the south (Fier, Vlora, Gjirokastra) towards the north (Lezha) towards the southeast (Pogradec, Korce) and new road linking Albania to Kosovo. The signal is extended more and more, in order to cover in a record time of most of the population.
