PlugTest or PlugFest is a term used about an unofficial event where the designers of electronic equipment test the interoperability of their devices or designs to other equipment. For example CEA organizes PlugFests for interoperability testing between HDMI source, sink and repeater devices. In the similar way VESA organizes PlugTests for DisplayPort device designers and vendors. Similar PlugTests are organized to e.g. USB device vendors.
