Pipiganj

Pipiganj is a town and a nagar panchayat in Gorakhpur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Demographics

As of 2001^[update] India census,^[1] Pipiganj had a population of 11,386. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Pipiganj has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 49%. In Pipiganj, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
