PineApp is a privately held IT security company that provides email security, email archiving and web filtering (content control software) for organizations and enterprises. The products are provided as appliances or software, as well as Software as a Service and cloud service platforms. The company’s mail relay security includes protection from malware including viruses, Trojans, and spyware, along with anti-spam and anti-phishing.

PineApp was founded in 2002, and is headquartered in Israel, with distributors in over 40 countries worldwide.

In 2011 PineApp released the Outbound Spam Guard (OSG). The PineApp OSG is a transparent SMTP proxy that effectively neutralizes outbound spam from botnets.

Independent Recognition

In 2009, PineApp was positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the September 2008 "Magic Quadrant for E-Mail Security Boundaries" report in the “Niche Players” Quadrant[1][2].

In 2009, PineApp was named #11 on Deloitte's Israel Technology Fast 50 [3] list (showing the fastest growing technology firms in Israel), along with being named #204 on Deloitte's EMEA Technology Fast 500 [4].

In 2008, PineApp's Mail-SeCure mail relay appliance was analyzed in "Put to the Test" by German lab SearchDataCenter.de[5]. English version of study[6].
