Pine Ridge Secondary School is located in Pickering, Ontario within the Durham District School Board. The school has students in grades 9-12 and offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities. In 2007, then Principal Sarah A. McDonald was named one of Canada's Outstanding Principals.[4]

Location

The school is situated outside a natural conservation area. It was built in 1992 and originally had 56 classrooms. In 2001, the building underwent major renovations to accommodate 20 more classrooms.[5]
