Piet Eckert

Piet Eckert (born 1968 in Mumbai, India) is a Swiss architect.

He studied architecture at the ETH Zurich (Diploma 1994, with honorable mention)[1] and at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture in New York City. From 1995 until 1997, he worked at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA).[2] Since 1997, he has been an independent architect in Zurich and in 2001 he founded E2A Architects with Wim Eckert.[3]

Piet Eckert has taught at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands and at the ETH Zurich.[4] Most recently, he has been a visiting professor for Architecture and Sustainable Design at the HafenCity University in Hamburg.[5]
