Pierre Romain Owono Ebéde (born February 9, 1980 in Yaoundé) is a Cameroonian goalkeeper.
Edebe came in Greece from Cameroon during the 1998 summer transfer window for Apollon Kalamarias. He stayed there until January 2002, when a former team called Chalkidona FC (in 2005 was merged with Atromitos) bought him for 46.5 thousand euros. His good performances led Greek giants Panathinaikos FC to buy him in 2005. He is known for his very good reflexes and some Panathinaikos fans believe he is better than Antonis Nikopolidis. During his first season with the Greens, Ebede saw all 30 A' Ethniki games from the bench, behind starting goalkeeper Croatian Mario Galinovic. However, his second season was far better, being in the starting line up of Panathinaikos for 22 games.[2] However, Ebede was dismissed from Panathinaikos on 31 May 2007 and later joined Metz. After that,on 04/06/2008 he signed a contract with AEL Limassol.
