Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A: Physical, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Royal Society. It was originally published as Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, but was split into two journals in 1887. Phil. Trans. R. Soc. A covers the physical sciences, whereas Phil. Trans. R. Soc. B covers the biological sciences.
