The Philips Velo was a Handheld PC.
The initial Velo 1 is mini-notebook-style device, running either on custom NiMH battery pack, or 2x AA batteries. It includes monochrome display with green backlight. It originally shipped with WindowsCE1, and had two internal expansion slot, as well as "mini-dock" where PCMCIA card could be placed.
Memory expansion cards and WindowsCE2 cards became popular, you placed them into the expansion slot, and could use newer software.
The second and last model was the Velo 500.
