Florante at Laura, by Francisco Balagtas.
Although almost every medium to large city in the world has at least one Filipino store, these stores do not stock any form of literature in any Philippine language beyond the small ("pocket book") romance novels and the occasional cookbooks. Even the Filipino celebrity magazines commonly available are written mostly in English.
Outside of the Philippines, literature in Filipino is only stocked by specialist foreign language bookshops such as Schoenhofs in Boston and one Asian bookshop in Tokyo.
