Philippe Bühler (born 29 November 1981) aka Philippe Heithier (named after his mother's birth name) is a German singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer and manager. He came to fame as a contestant on the second season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar,[1] the German version of Pop Idol. Bühler was eliminated in the top 3 after receiving 29.12 percent of the vote.
Originally, Bühler was a contestant in group one of the semi-finals. However, Denise Tillmanns and Jessica Houston advanced from his group. Bühler was brought back as a wildcard and advanced to the top 13 with Anke Wagner and Gunther Göbbel. Bühler was the only member of the season 2 to be a parent.
Since the show, Bühler has released two singles and is currently working on his first album.
