Peugeot HYbrid4

Peugeot HYbrid4 is Peugeot's in-house developed hybrid powertrain system. It commonly takes the form of a diesel engine coupled with an electric motor to provide a 4WD hybrid. The system will make its production debut on the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 in 2012, emitting 99g of carbon dioxide per kilometer.[1] The 3008 HYbrid4 will have a combined fuel consumption of 3.8 litres/100km, beating the smaller Toyota Prius. It will also be able to operate in four driver-selected modes: Auto, Sport, ZEV (pure-electric) and 4WD.[2]
