Peter Keeley

Peter Keeley is a British screenwriter and the creator of the television series I'm with Stupid, which airs on BBC Three.[1]

Keeley, who has cerebral palsy, conceived a protagonist and several other characters in the series with disabilities.

I’m with Stupid won an RTS Northwest Award for best new comedy 2005 In 2007 The Farrelly Brothers made an American Pilot of the show For NBC. The pilot was written by Wil Calhoun, whose credits include Friends.

As of 2010 he and others setup a Facebook/Twitter campaign "Disabled Tramban". Against an unnecessary bylaw witch ban’s mobility Scooter users from using The Manchester Tram Network.

As an Actor Keeley has appeared in BBC one show “A thing called love”(2004) and He appeared in series two of BBC radio 4 comedy Pick ups (2009)

Also in 2009 he wrote a number of Articles for the Manchester Evening News. He has also done some presenting work For Channel M Television.
