Peter Collins (Irish: Peadar Ó Cóilín) is an Irish sportscaster for national broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). He is to be seen on RTÉ's coverage of live association football, Gaelic games, Formula One and Moto GP.

Career

Collins presented RTÉ's coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

He contributed to RTÉ Sport's coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.[1][2]

He was the subject of a Twitter controversy in 2011 after tweets critical of Irish Travellers surfaced online during a Tonight with Vincent Browne debate.[3][4]
