Peronopsis is a genus of trilobite from the Cambrian. Its remains have been found in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.
Peronopsis is represented by the following species in the Wheeler Shale of Utah: P. bidens, P. fallax, P. gaspensis, P. intermedius, P. interstrictus (the most common species), P. montis, and P. segmentus.
P. interstrictus, the main species, is sometimes erroneously known as P. interstricta.
