Pepromene is a goddess and personification of fate/destiny in Greek mythology (personification of "the destined share", which implies a person's true calling, and similar ideas; in short, the idea that every man is tied to a destiny). Her name seems to be a synonym to other Greek terms for destiny and fate (such as Aesa, Moira, Moros, Ananke, Adrasteia and Heimarmene).
