Peda-vegi is a village and a mandal in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.^[1] It is located 12 km from the city of Eluru, the head quarters of West Godavari Dist. Pedavegi also serves as the Mandal headquarters of Pedavegi Mandal.

Economy

The main source of income and empoyment for the people of Pedavegi is agriculture. The land around Pedavegi is very fertile. The chiefly gown crops are maize, peanut, cashewnuts, watermelon, coconuts and palm oil.

Some enterprising farmers also grow medicinal plants, coffee and cocoa(promoted by cadburys).
