Paul H. Anderson (born June 1951) is a Minnesota politician and a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives representing District 13A, which includes portions of Kandiyohi, Pope and Stearns counties in the west central part of the state. A Republican, he is also a farmer.[1]
Anderson was elected in 2008, running after three-term Rep. Bud Heidgerken opted not to seek re-election.[2] He was unopposed in his 2010 re-election bid.[3] He is currently a member of the House's Environment Policy and Oversight Committee and State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections Committee. He also serves on the Finance subcommittees for the Agriculture, Rural Economies and Veterans Affairs Finance Division and the K-12 Education Finance Division.[4]
Anderson attended the University of Minnesota in Morris, graduating with a B.A. in Physical Education and Education. Prior to running for the House, he served as a Pope County commissioner, a member of the Starbuck School Board, and a Starbuck township officer.[5]
