Patrick "Pat" Tunney was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s who at representative level played for England, and at club level for Salford, playing at Hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums.[1]
Pat Tunney won a cap for England in the 3-9 defeat to Other Nationalities at Central Park, Wigan on 5 April 1904, in the first ever international rugby league match.[2]
