Patrick Melton (born June 18, 1975) is an American screenwriter.
Melton was born in Champaign, Illinois. He attended Evanston Township High School, and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies. He also attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where he received a MFA in screenwriting.
He has co-written the screenplays for Feast, Feast 2: Sloppy Seconds, Saw IV, and Saw V, The Collector, Feast 3: The Happy Finish and Saw VI with collaborator Marcus Dunstan.[1] He co-wrote 2010's Saw 3D.[2] On February 8, 2010, he told Latino Review that Saw 3D is most likely the last entry in the Saw franchise.[3][4]
