Passiona

Passiona is a passionfruit-flavoured soft drink available only in Australia and currently manufactured by Schweppes Australia in Australia. (Schweppes Australia was acquired by Asahi in 2009.)

Passiona seems to have been first described in an address to the Mullumbimby Chamber of Commerce by Stephen Cottee of Lismore, New South Wales in 1925 [1], and marketed to the public in 1927[2]

The Passiona trademark has also been used by Cottees in their jelly crystal range, and originally by long defunct softdrink manufacturer, Geo. Hall & Sons in Norwood, South Australia.[3]

Its branded equivalent by Kirks is known as Pasito.
