Caivano is a city and comune (municipality) in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 14 km northeast of Naples.
The municipality of Caivano contains the frazioni Casolla Valenzano and Pascarola. Pascarola is home to a large industrial area (ranking amongst the top ten in Italy, the third largest in the South). There are remains of an ancient Roman theater in Casolla.
Caivano borders the following municipalities: Acerra, Afragola, Cardito, Crispano, Marcianise, Orta di Atella.
