Parvimolge townsendi, the tropical dwarf salamander, is a salamander in the Plethodontidae family, which is characterized by its absence of lungs; it instead achieve respiration through its skin and the tissues lining the mouth. It is monotypic within the genus Parvimolge and endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and plantations . It is threatened by habitat loss.
