Pandori is a village and union council of Jhelum District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is part of Dina Tehsil,[1] and is located at 33°6'0N 73°37'0E with an altitude of 271 metres (892 feet).[2]

Pandori is a village consisting of many small Dhokes(smaller version of a village). These Dhokes are scattered over a perimeter of 3 KM and inhabit-ates different families. Well known Dhokes are Tamma, Dupri, Kund, Sahi, Khinger, Baral, Potha. Notable tribes in Pandori are Rajas, Mughals, Maliks,Jats. Pandori is surrounded by a scenic mountains on one side and Mangla Lake on the other side. River Jhelum used to flow in close proximity of pandori at one time but now due to Dam construction its bed is dry.People of the area used to work at one time mostly for armed forces but in late sixties there was huge immigration to UK. Many people left for UAE and Saudi Arabia in search of better economic prospects. Ever since there is more prosperity. Men and women of Pandori lacked in educational ,medical facilities. Now luckily for last many years Pandori has produced Engineers, Doctors, Financial experts. Brig Bashir Malik was a well known educationist who was chief instructor Military college Jhelum, Principal of Burnhall college Abbotabad. other notables of the area are Mirza Naeem Akhter (Director Marketing Abbot Labs), Rafi Uz Zaman (Retd session judge), Brig Q A Barlas, Wahab Naeem( legend in advertisement industry), Dr Atif Zaman. Pandori has many people living overseas. The village now gives a look of deserted place.There are not many educated lot left behind.Though many people have done well in all fields but a quiet sober unknown in the village folks is Raheel Malik whose mom is from this village. An oxford grad with a shining career in investment banking in UK. At 33 he is Director in Citi group. Subedar Gakhar Khan who died in 1959 was a brave man with popular image among the older generation.He fought 1st world war along with Brits.An other young kid by the name of Muhammad Hamza is a future shining star. At age 4 he was on the stage of Mcmaster University Hamilton Canada to recite Quran Surah. He is very good in soccer in his school and club. Who knows one day he ends up a great soccer player in Canada
