Palos Verdes Intermediate School (PVIS) is one of three public middle schools in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District (PVPUSD) (the others being Miraleste Intermediate School and Ridgecrest Intermediate School). The school is located on the campus of the former Margate Intermediate School, which closed in 1985.[1] PVIS was previously housed on the campus of Palos Verdes High School until that school reopened in 2002.
